Internal Audit

The company’s internal audit office is subordinate to the board of directors and is staffed  two numbers of full-time internal auditor based on the company’s size, business conditions, management needs and other relevant laws and regulations. The auditor is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the company’s internal control system. The appointment or dismissal of the chief audit executive shall be approved by the audit committee and submitted to the board of directors for resolution. The recruitment, dismissal, evaluation, and compensation of internal auditor shall be approved by the chairman and submitted to the board of directors for resolution.

The company’s internal audit aims to assist its board of directors and management team to inspect and review deficiencies in the internal control systems and perform audit to achieve effective and efficient operations. Also, Internal Audit provides timely suggestions for improvement, ensuring the sustainability and effective execution of internal controls.

The charter of internal audit clearly stipulates internal audit to review the internal control of the company’s operating procedures, and reports whether the design and routine practical operations of these controls are appropriate and their effectiveness and efficiency; its scope includes all company operations and its subsidiaries.

The audit work is mainly carried out according to the audit plan approved by the board of directors. The audit plan is made based on the identified risks, and special audit or review is performed as needed. The internal auditor shall be detached, independent, objective, and impartial, in faithfully performing their duties, and shall exercise due professional care, and reporting their audit operations to board of directors and audit committee on a regular or as need basis.

The internal audit reviews the self-inspection performed by each unit, including checking whether the operation has been performed and reviewing the documents to ensure the quality of the execution. The internal audit further integrates the results of the self-inspection and reports to the board of directors and audit committee.
