uPI has prepared a set of VCORE solutions that perfectly catches the demand of power management solution for the just-launched AMD CPU for desktop and graphics. uP9503 / uP9504 / uP9505 is a series of multi-phase VCORE solution fully compatible to AMD SVI2 (Serial VID Interface 2.0), applicable for AMD’s latest CPU and GPU. The “Phase-Shift” feature allows flexible phase configuration between the two outputs – VDD & VDDA (CPU) or VDDC & VDDCI (GPU).

In addition to the flexibility, uPI designed the controllers with realistic mindset. With the “Vboot Selection” function, customers can use the 2nd output to support various DRAM, including the most advanced HBM at 1.2V on graphic card design, so to reduce the total BOM cost.

uP9503 / uP9504 / uP9505 are all incorporated with voltage/current/temperature reporting features through I2C interface, with a simple GUI users can easily real-time monitor the controller performance. Particularly for high-end motherboards and graphic cards, such feature has become a must-have.

The uP9503 / uP9504 embedded two 12V drivers while uP9505 supports DrMOS or phase-extension driver. uPI also provides customer a full selection of gate drivers and DrMOS as total power solution.
